Once you call Sterling Overhead Door, one of our representatives will ask you the appropriate questions to determine what your needs are. We will make an appointment to send a member of the Sterling Overhead Door installation team out to your property. Our team member will diligently check your existing garage door situation, take some measurements, and show you some sample doors we can install. We will also discuss garage door openers and motors with you. In addition, there are several options for add-ons including keypads and remote controls for your cars.

 

Once your door is in stock, our representative will make an appointment for installation at your convenience. A team will install your door. When they are through, they will clean up thoroughly and your garage will be as it was when they arrived except for the addition of a beautiful new door.

Most garage door installations by Sterling Overhead Door are completed within one working day. We pride ourselves on getting the job done quickly and with attention to quality for our Worcester County and central Massachusetts customers.

There are limited color choices when it comes to garage doors. If the door does not come in the color you want and you want to match your door to your home you can have it painted.

Most steel garage doors have a lifetime warranty against rust through. Most composite garage doors have a lifetime warranty. Wood garage door warranties depend on the manufacturer.

 

Sterling Overhead Door will be able to tell you which warranty applies to the garage doors you select. We’ve been proudly installing garage doors all over Worcester County and central Massachusetts since 1999.

Most of the replacement doors we offer our customers in Worcester County and Central Massachusetts are galvanized steel with a wood grain texture and an exterior finish coat of baked on polyester paint. Doors also come in wood and composite.

This depends on the size and type of door you order. When our representative meets with you, he will measure your door and discuss your options. We can supply any type of door from an inexpensive door to a very high end door.

 

If you would like to call for a quick quote you will need some facts before you call. You will need to know the width and height of the opening and the measurement from the opening to the ceiling (this determines the type of track used to hold your door in place).

R-Value is a measure of thermal efficiency. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating properties of the door. If your door is under your home, you may want to discuss this with our representative. If your garage is detached, you may not need to up your R-value. An insulated door also adds strength and durability to the door itself.
